The final weekend of the summer hols is here bringing you bizarre bikes, inflatables and art by the river.

York Festival of Cycling

Grab your helmets and show off your tricks alongside this year’s giant inflatables, climbing walls and cool BMX stunts by the team SavageSkills. All ages, shapes, and abilities are invited to this Sunday’s free cycling festival at Rowntree Park. More here

Peter Pan at City Screen


City Screen are showing an ‘encore’ performance of Peter Pan which was captured live at The National Theatre – complete with Peter and the children whizzing around on strings. Part of the cinema’s Kids’ Club, it is preceded by children’s activities in the auditorium. On Saturday – doors open at 10.30am with the screening at 11.15am. More here
