With floral displays sprouting across the city, the first ever Bloom! Festival has transformed the streets into a kaleidoscope of flowers, fruit, veg and general leafy goodness.
The event marks the 250th birthday of the Ancient Society of York Florists – the oldest group of its kind in the world.
For the next four days there are acres of floral and foodie fun to be had across York.
The idea of Make It York, Bloom! is being supported by the York BID, and has been curated by Lotte Inch from the Lotte Inch Gallery.
Here are just a few of the highlights. There are many more here.
Enjoy yourself petal!
