A thief broke into a York fish and chip shop and stole around £300 worth of equipment.
The man struck in the early hours of Easter Monday morning (22 April) at The Sea Catcher on Clarence Street.
He used a crowbar to break a lock and force his way in.
The thief took a stereo, two tablets and a charity jar. He also emptied the bins over the floor.
Owner Ieva Maseviciute told YorkMix:

It makes the whole team angry and disappointed about such individuals who disrespect the local community.
We felt violated when watching a burglar on CCTV going through the drawers and cupboards.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “At some time between 9.30pm Saturday 21 April 2019 and 4pm Monday 22 April 2019, thieves had forced entry to the café through a back door.
