This is what summer’s all about – a food and drink festival at a York vineyard!
The Yorkshire Hearty Festival is back for 2023 for three whole days of fun, with music, wine, beer, cocktails and food.
The festival takes place at Yorkshire Heart Vineyard, Nun Monkton from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 July.
Yorkshire Heart is an award-winning family run vineyard and brewery based at Nun Monkton. The vineyard cares for 25,000 vines all year round and produces craft ales, pilsners and stouts in its micro-brewery.
An on-site bar will be serving up beer, cider and wine, and Gilly’s Gin Tin will be there providing gin and a selection of cocktails.
Food will be served by the vineyard’s own Winehouse Cafe and Barbecue, and Latin Fusion will be serving up wraps with pork, chicken or halloumi, as well as their dirty fries.
Ice cream from Curlew Fields Dairies will also be available.
There will be lots of music acts throughout the festival to sit back and enjoy, such as multi-instrumentalist Alex Cromarty, acoustic duo Billy&Lu, and York band The SuperModels.
Fun for the kids includes face-painting and inflatables.
