The YorkMix Family Raceday is nearly here – with family fun, exciting races and a special guest.
YorkMix have again teamed up with York Racecourse to put on a day of sport and fun for all ages.
There’s a seven-race card with record prize money, an ‘Entertainment Marquee’ with giant inflatables, children’s zoo, zorb football, and more. And it’s free for under 18s.
All the details are below: we can’t wait to see you there!
The YorkMix Family Raceday takes place on Sunday 10 September. Gates open from 11:15am, with the first race at 12:25pm.
Special guest this year is the popular children’s character, Bluey, who you will be able to see at intervals throughout the day.
The children’s TV star will be walking around the Edwardian weighing room lawn, with opportunities for photos.
Also in the Entertainment Marquee, children can try their skills on some of the Diggerland machines, meet mammals and reptiles from around the world with Joe’s Animal Encounters, ride the ‘virtual racehorse’, and much more.
