Here’s some news to make you jump for joy – the world’s biggest bouncy castle is heading our way.
The giant inflatable is just one of the attractions which is set to make this year’s Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta the biggest and best yet.
The bouncy castle measures 23.8m (78ft) long by 20.7m (68ft) wide and is 12.8m (42ft) tall. Which makes it taller than the Great Wall of China!
It will be in place alongside a 1,000ft inflatable obstacle course, and York’s largest funfair – and that’s before the main attraction, hot air balloons!

The four-day balloon festival will takes place at York Racecourse over the August bank holiday weekend on Friday 27 to Monday 30 August 2021.
More than 50 hot air balloons are expected to take flight over the weekend, including special shape balloons which have never before been flown in the UK.
One of the special shape balloons will be a large motorbike – which astonishingly will be the size of five normal hot air balloons!
The first balloon flight will take place on the Friday evening, with mass balloon launches planned for each morning and evenings across the weekend – weather permitting.
The festival will close on Monday evening with a spectacular firework, drone and laser show finale with the largest firework display York has ever seen.
A unique experience

“We have an absolutely amazing four days planned and are so excited to be welcoming balloons which have never been seen before in the UK.
“It is going to be a really special, unique experience for our visitors.
