Suspect and evidence recovered from a roof in Leeds after a burglary in North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire Police often say they search high and low for evidence but in this case they really meant it!

Following a burglary in Harrogate the Operational Support Unit went to an address in Leeds to carry out further enquiries.

One suspect escaped from officers and ended up on the roof of a property.

He was coaxed down and colleagues at West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service helped by recovering evidence left on the roof.

Two men and a youth arrested, the investigation is ongoing said North Yorkshire Police
