Strensall stabbing: Police issue update
York police have issued an update on their investigation into a stabbing in Strensall.
As YorkMix reported on Monday, police were called by the ambulance service at around 11.17am on Monday (6 February) after a woman was stabbed “during a domestic incident” at a property in the village north of York.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested.
This afternoon (Wednesday), North Yorkshire Police said: “The injured woman remains in hospital where she continues to received treatment to her injuries.
“The boy who was arrested in connection with the incident remains under investigation and in police detention.”
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who has information and has not already spoken to the detectives is asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 137 of 6 February.
