Spark York is set for its summer season – with the roof gone, new artwork and a new trader serving vegan comfort food.
The unique York venue has had it’s summer makeover and reopened on Thursday after being closed for three days this week for the revamping to take place.
It’s now back open for business, and ready for those summer days and evenings under the sun with family and friends.
There is also new artwork around the venue to see – including art from Leeds based graffiti and mural artist Marcus ‘Hyro’ Browne, and a mural by graffiti artist Keith Hopewell in memory of musician Jah Shaka.
Another new addition for the summer is food trader Herbivorous.
With a restaurant in Manchester, they specialise in modern vegan comfort food and serve up dishes such as Philly cheesesteak loaded fries, buffalo wings, and burgers.
So what are you waiting for – summer starts right here at Spark.
Spark’s summer opening hours are Tuesday to Thursday, 12pm-10:30pm, Friday and Saturday, 12-11pm, and Sunday, 12-9pm. It is closed on Mondays.
