Some of York’s most wanted criminals arrested in police crackdown

A crackdown on crime in York has netted six arrests – including some of the city’s most wanted.

The York police taskforce said they have enjoyed a “busy week”.

“Six arrests, including some of York’s most wanted criminals. Four cars seized for having no insurance. Five drivers reported for traffic offences.”

They said they have also been developing intelligence on drug dealers and patrolling anti-social behaviour hot spots.

The taskforce appealed for more intelligence from York residents, saying: “If you can help the task force with any information please email [email protected] or call 101.”
