A woman was sexually assaulted in York city centre in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.
And police have released this picture of a man they’d like to question in relation to the attack.
A woman left McDonald’s in Blake Street and walked across the road into the doorway of New Look when she was approached by a man.
Police believe he tried to get the woman to touch him inappropriately before he repeatedly tried to touch her. When she resisted, he left the scene.
The incident took place shortly after 3.30am on Monday (August 28).
Detectives at York’s Serious Crime Team want to trace the man pictured by CCTV in connection with their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is urged to call North Yorkshire Police: details below.
