It’s the first Saturday of the season at York Racecourse this weekend – featuring seven races, a Taylor Swift tribute, and a race card worth nearly £300,000.
Taking place this Saturday 31 May, the action on the track will feature the Group 3 William Hill Bronte Cup.
After the racing excitement, racegoers can enjoy a performance from Taylored Swift, the leading European tribute to the US superstar.
There will also be music from the Regimental Band of the Royal Yorkshire Regiment and The Monotones performing an upbeat selection of classic covers.
Additional entertainment includes a 360-selfie camera, a new living flower wall, and trips to the start in the company of a Grand National winning rider.
Attendees can also look forward to new Guinness and Prosecco bars, and new casual dining offers – from burritos or nachos to deep filled Yorkshire Puddings and a ‘pie and beer’ combo deal.
And for the first time at this fixture, people can enjoy the Churchill Tyres Lawn and use the award-winning Bustardthorpe Development.
Racegoers aged under-18 are admitted free of charge, with adult admission to the Clocktower Enclosure at £15.
Admission for all areas will be available on the raceday itself, with free car parking as well as a regular shuttle bus service from the train station.
