Ricky Gervais has a new stand-up show – and he’s bringing it to York.
He announced today (Monday) the first set of official UK dates for his brand-new stand-up show ‘Mortality’.
Kicking off this October, Gervais will start by visiting 11 major UK theatre and arena venues – including the York Barbican.
Gervais will play the Barbican on Tuesday, 22 October at 7.30pm. Tickets go on sale this week – details below
Fresh from his most recent stand-up special ‘Armageddon’ winning a Golden Globe, hitting Number 1 on Netflix and claiming the world record for the highest grossing comedy gig of all time, ‘Mortality’ will once again be filmed for Netflix.

With over 80 work-in-progress shows now under his belt this year, Gervais said: “We’re all gonna die.
“May as well have a laugh about it. Mortality looks at the absurdities of life. And death. Bring it on.”
The writer, actor and comedian was last in York for two sold-out nights in January 2023 with his Armageddon show.
