Police take direct action after dangerous behaviour in York woods

York police have acted after being informed of dangerous and anti-social behaviour in a city suburb tonight (Wednesday, 15 February).

Members of the public contacted the force after witnessing a quad bike being driven around Danesmead Wood.

Its a small area of woodland and a wildflower meadow at Fulford which is used by walkers and schools.

York officers went in search of the quad bike and seized it after finding it on Broadway West.
