Family and friends of James Moore-Carnell joined a procession of transit vans on his final journey.
James died when his bike was in collision with a car near his Stockton Lane home on Sunday 14 July.
He family described the 29-year-old as a big fan of transit vans and many van drivers joined the funeral procession which led from Stockton Lane to St Aelred’s Church where the service was held.
It was led by a horse-drawn hearse carrying James.

James was a kind, honest and genuine person with a heart of gold.
He was a very hard working young man who was respected and loved by all who met and knew him.
He lived life to the full and will always be remembered as a much loved son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend.
