There are two three hour sessions on Saturday, December 6 where experts will teach 3D design using the latest technology, and each learner will be given the opportunity to print their design to take home with them.
Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
The technique creates three-dimensional models using design software and a 3D printer.
“These events will allow anyone to come and try this exciting new technology, even if they’ve never seen a 3D printer in action before,” said Fiona Williams, chief executive of Explore York Libraries and Archives Mutual.
“We can’t wait to see how people engage with the technology in creative and innovative ways.”
