Listen: The 13-year-old Euro2020 podcasters from York give their verdict on the final

Euro Podcasts, from Finn Greenhouse and Josiah Finn, both 13, have been a big hit
Mon 12 Jul, 2021 @ 6.01 pm News David Dunning

Two teenagers in York have won praise from a top sports presenter for the podcasts they have produced in the run up to the Euro2020 final.

Finn Greenhouse and Josiah Finn are both 13-years-old and go to Archbishop Holgate’s School in York.

They decided to set up a daily podcast called Euro Daily to give their views on the players, the tactics and all the matches. It’s aimed at teenage listeners but naturally they have gained fans of all ages.

Huge shout out to Finn and Josiah – had a listen to their pod this morning and they’re absolutely smashing it ???????? LOVING your work and keep going, radio/podcasting is for anyone and everyone ???????? https://t.co/K8L0yfFM6h

Steve Crossman, the BBC Radio 5 Live presenter and producer/presenter of The Hurricane Tapes podcast, gave a huge thumbs up to the recordings.

He said they were absolutely smashing it!

You can hear their podcast on this link.

They have recorded their thoughts every day during the tournament and their familes say they are really proud of what the boys have achieved.

They have several thousand regular listeners and will be watching the big match with their families tonight with a final ‘wrap up’ podcast coming out tomorrow.

They now have plans for a regular podcast following the premier league.
