Police target anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in York park

Police are tackling anti-social behaviour in one area of York – and want residents’ help.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Your local neighbourhood police teams and our partners have been working together over the last few months to deal with antisocial behaviour and other issues in the Rowntree Park and Millennium Bridge area.

“Do you live or work in this general area, do you travel across Millennium Bridge or use Rowntree Park?

“If so we would be very grateful if you could help us to identify any issues that may have affected you or share any thoughts you may have about this.”

Officers have launched the Millennium Bridge & Rowntree Park Area Police Survey.
