Police today named the man killed in a road accident in York city centre earlier this month.
He was 38 year old Eze Onyedikachi Young from Leeds.
The incident happened on Station Road, close to Rougier Street, in the early hours of 9 February.
Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a grey estate car and a pedestrian.
The road was closed for a number of hours to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
Police today renewed their appeal for witnesses, or anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision, to come forward.
