Missing man, 74, found

A 74-year-old man missing from his home in Fairburn, in the Selby District, has been found.

An appeal was launched after the man was last seen leaving the house at 8am on Saturday 4 February 2023.

But on Sunday, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A man in his 70s who was missing from his home in Fairburn has been found safe and well.

“North Yorkshire Police appealed for information to locate him after he was reported missing on Saturday 4 February 2023.

“Officers are grateful to everyone who shared the appeal.”
