Police issue CCTV after assault at York supermarket

Police would like to speak to him following an assault in a York supermarket.

It happened at Tesco in Clifton Moor at 8.30pm on Monday 2 August, and involved a male suspect and supermarket staff.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Despite extensive enquiries, the suspect has not yet been identified.

“Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the man in the image, as they believe he will have information that could help the investigation.”
