Police investigating a burglary in York have issued a CCTV image of a woman they need to trace.

The still is taken from footage outside Sainsbury’s on Burton Stone Lane at about 6pm on Sunday, April 19 2015.

Police believe the woman pictured may be an important witness in relation to a burglary which occurred in the Clifton area of the city the same day.

In the footage, she appears to have a verbal altercation with another woman at a cash point.

Anyone who can help identify the woman is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police. Details below.
