Police have issued an appeal after suspicious behaviour in a suburb of York.
At 4.30pm today (Friday), a resident was driving down Dodsworth Avenue in Heworth when she saw two young men on a driveway.
They were dressed all in black and had face coverings.

The driver sounded her horn and that seemed to startle them and they left the area. On the drive there were two motorcycles belonging to some visitors to York.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We have spoken to nearby residents and one has offered to let them use his garage.
“If you have any information on this incident or any incidents that involve the theft of mopeds and motorcycles then please get in touch and quote NYP-11082023-0368.
“There has been a rise in incidents of theft of theses types of vehicles and they are often found later burnt out.”
