Police broke up a gathering of young people in a York play area last night (Monday).
Officers responded to reports of anti-social behaviour and a breach of coronavirus regulations at Sovereign Park, off Princess Drive in Acomb.
In a tweet, the York South team at North Yorkshire Police said: “A group of youths were congregating in a bin shed.
“All spoken to and reminded of the lockdown regulations of meeting more than one person.”
Officers have sent letters to their parents, “reminding them of their responsibility”.
