Updated: Missing York woman found safe and well

A York woman who had been missing since Monday has been found safe and well.

North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal for help to find the woman, 33, saying they were “growing increasingly concerned for her welfare”.

This morning, police said: “A 33-year-old York woman who North Yorkshire Police was searching for yesterday has been found safe and well.   

“Officers have thanked everyone, including the media, for sharing the appeal.”
