Updated: Missing York student found safe and well

A missing York student has been found safe and well.

North Yorkshire Police launched the search for Harry Llewellyn, 17, after he was last seen leaving York College at 1pm on Wednesday (1 February).

Police said they were “extremely concerned for his welfare”.

Happily, at 9.47am today (Thursday), they said on social media: “The missing 17 year-old boy from York has been located safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find him.”
