Police called to North Yorkshire school by worried parents
Police were called to a North Yorkshire school by worried parents yesterday (Friday).
Officers went to the Riverside Primary School in Tadcaster yesterday afternoon.
Today, they revealed why there was a police presence outside the school.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “This was in response to concerns raised about dangerous and inconsiderate parking.
“We ask you to be considerate of others when collecting your children from the school and kindly leave room for larger vehicles to pass or manoeuvre.
“The local neighbourhood team will continue to work with the school to ensure the safety of the children and the wider community.”
