Police called out to sudden death near York

Police officers were called in to investigate a sudden death near York.

Paramedics were first called to the house in Murton to the east of the city shortly before 1pm on Wednesday (November 30).

They were unable to save the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police officers were then called in to investigate. Later that afternoon they concluded that the death was not suspicious.
