YorkMix have teamed up with PE Pro to find 12 schools to compete in a variety of sporting challenges and battle it out for the top prize, a whole year’s membership of the PE Pro app and facilities for your whole school!

Become your very own sporting superstars

What better way to celebrate the new term than getting your pupils active and giving them the opportunity to become their very own Sporting Superstars? 

Our event will encourage your school to train a media team and sports leaders in which they will put their new skills to the test by running, covering and competing in sporting events with the team from PE Pro and YorkMix.

PE Pro is a comprehensive PE tool offering a broad & ambitious curriculum. Curated by teacher, academics and professional athletes with a shared passion for the physical literacy journey. It’s PE made simple, and the team will be attending the schools to help run the play-offs!

YorkMix and PE Pro will visit your school and run a session. Sessions available will be on Thursdays from November 2024 to February 2025.

Session sample

10.00-10.30 – Media & Sports Leaders Training with pre-selected small groups of Leaders from Year 5 and 6.
10.30 -11.30 – Group warm up, the leaders will deliver and measure the scores in the event with support from the PE Pro team to a larger group of students. (Up to school discretion but we suggest 1 or 2 classes)
11.30 – 12.00 Final words with the media & sports leaders, interviews and pictures from the media team and cool down.
