Here’s how York is faring today as winter continues to bite.
The city is mixing bright sunshine with snow showers – sometimes quite heavy ones. But by lunchtime on Monday the white stuff was barely settling, apart from a dusting on rooftops and in the parks.
It is chilly though. Temperatures are barely above freezing, and in the wind the real-feel is -6ºC.
More snow is forecast for later today and tomorrow, with a yellow warning in place for snow and ice.
