Person dies in incident at York home – Police investigating

One person has died during an incident at a York home.

Fire crews were called to a residential property on Paddock Way, Acomb, yesterday (Tuesday).

Full details about the incident have not yet been disclosed, but YorkMix understands one person died at the scene.

North Yorkshire Police are aware of the incident. Police officers, alongside their colleagues in fire service, are investigating.

That investigation is ongoing, but at this stage it is believed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
