Person dies after incident at business near York

A person has died at an industrial estate near York.

The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning (11 February) at East Riding Sacks on Full Sutton Industrial Estate.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene.

East Riding Sacks released a statement which said: “We can confirm that an incident did occur on Saturday 11 February, resulting in a fatality.

“The company is co-operating fully with both Humberside Police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). 

“We are not in a position to make any further comments at this time, until the police and HSE have completed their investigations.”

Officers from Humberside Police were called to the business at 6.30am on Saturday.
