Pamper yourself for International Women’s Day

It’s International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8 and Oxfam in York will be celebrating through a variety of events in order to raise money for women worldwide.

The Oxfam Petergate shop is organising an event called Oxglam York, hosted by Pure Hair And Beauty on Grape Lane, between 6pm and 8pm.

Oxglam York is an event aimed at everyone who enjoys a Friday night out. On offer is a pre-night out pamper, where you can get your hair, nails and make up done by professionals before heading out on the town, all for £5.

The money raised through the event will go towards supporting Oxfam’s ongoing women’s projects, in areas that need it most. For more information on how to organise your own event and how Oxfam supports women around the world click here.
