Emergency services were called to two car crashes last night (Thursday)
At 6.48pm, fire crews from Thirsk, Northallerton and Boroughbridge responded to a report of a car into a tree.
It happened on the A19 near South Kilvington.
When firefighters arrived, they found two casualties were out of the vehicle and being looked after by paramedics.
Later, at 3.11am, a Pickering fire crew was called to a collision at Ebberston.
A car had left the road and hit a pylon in a field.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The female driver, aged in her 50s, was unharmed and out of the vehicle – a Dacia Duster.
The fire crew made the car safe by disconnecting the battery and confirmed that the pylon was undamaged.”
