Updated: Wanted man detained by police

Police have detained a wanted man.

North Yorkshire Police put out an appeal to find Ashley Fulcher, 32, on Friday (6 January).

They said he had links to Selby, Howden in East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Chard in Somerset, and has been recalled to custody.

Today (Monday, 9 January), a force spokesperson said: “A 32-year-old man who was wanted on recall to prison has now been detained.

“Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal.”
