Two national speakers will address an anti-racism rally in York on Wednesday (February 15).

Anti-racist activist Nahella Ashraf and Moazzam Begg, the former Guantanamo Bay detainee, will speak at the event.
Moazzem Begg was detained under suspicion of terrorism and held for three years in Guantanamo without charge.
In 2005 he was released to return to the UK – where he was arrested and detained in Belmarsh for seven months when, once again, the case against him collapsed.
Mr Begg is now outreach director for CAGE – an organisation that fights for the rights of communities affected by the war on terror.
‘We must raise our voices’
Other speakers at the event are York Central Labour MP Rachael Maskell and Green councillor Denise Craghill.
Jane Carter, from York Stand Up To Racism, said:
