A man has been hurt after being in collision with a bus this afternoon.
Police and ambulance crews were called at about 1.12pm today (Monday, July 31) to the accident on Huntington Road in York involving a single decker bus and a pedestrian.
The bus was heading away from the city centre, and the accident happened opposite the junction with Ramsay Close.
The 56-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics.
A spokeswoman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: “We dispatched an emergency care practitioner (ECP) and an ambulance to the scene.
“A male patient was taken to York Hospital.”
Police described his injuries as minor.
No roads were closed.
