Hundreds of people took to the streets of York on Saturday to campaign against Brexit.
Protesting against the vote to leave the European Union, the crowd were also showing their support for the EU, and for immigrants coming to the city.
As many as a thousand people, of all ages, listened to speeches from people including York Central MP Rachael Maskell and Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate James Blanchard.
They then marched through the city centre, carrying placards with messages of support for the EU.
It followed York’s comprehensive vote to Remain in the EU – by 58% to 42%.
Many took to Twitter to voice their feelings.
