New fast food restaurant opening in York

The popular fast food restaurant Five Guys is due to open at York Designer Outlet.

It won’t be long now to grab a burger – the opening date has been announced as Monday 13 September.

Five Guys serves ‘burgers and fries cooked to perfection’, with milkshakes, sandwiches and hot dogs on offer too.

The fast food restaurant will join other eateries at York Designer Outlet such as Wagamama, Pizza Express and Ed’s Easy Diner.

Five Guys was established in 1986 by the Murrell family in Virginia and launched in the UK in 2013, opening in Covent Garden on 4 July.

It prides itself on using the freshest ingredients – with burgers grilled to order and the fries hand cut every morning.

The burgers are customisable with 250,000 possible mouthwatering combinations! Go classic by adding lettuce, tomato and pickles or spice things up with jalapeño peppers and hot sauce – the choice is yours.

There is also over 1,000 possible ways to customise your milkshake with 11 free mix-ins, including…bacon!
