A new fashion shop is opening in York this week.
Lehi James is set to open on Friday (6 October) on Little Stonegate.
It will open in the unit previously occupied by Devil’s Elbow Antiques.
Lehi James used to have a shop in Hull. But the owners have closed that to move to York.
Owner James Humphrey told the York Press that the shop will sell clothing and cosmetics.
Lehi James specialises in sports shirts, including football shirts new and retro, plus rugby and Formula One fashion. It also sells designer T-shirts, polo shirts and tops smart and casual.
His wife Valerie launched JVK Cosmetics in 2021. “She wanted to create a space where she could find all her favourite TikTok brands all under one roof,” the Lehi James website says.

Devil’s Elbow Antiques has relocated to the Bull Commercial Centre on Stockton Lane.
Its owner owner Evie Southgate told YorkMix they moved out of York city centre in April due to “the crippling increase of costs, rents and rates”.
She also said: “The drunken anti social behaviour we had to deal with every weekend just made it unbearable really.”
