More people have been caught on rooftops in York city centre.
This time, three people were spotted on a roof in St Sampson’s Square. Emergency services were called at 5.32am today.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from York and Huntington responded to reports of three males on a roof.
“The males were down from the roof on arrival, and in police custody.”
It is the third such incident in recent days. Youths were seen on CCTV on a roof of a property in Davygate at 10.23pm on Saturday, 22 April.
And police detained two people after a pair were seen on a roof, again on Davygate, at 8pm on Thursday, 27 April.
