Police made one arrest after reports that a man with a plank of wood was acting aggressively in a York pub.
The incident happened at 2.27pm on Wednesday (July 25) at the Flying Legends pub in Clifton Moor.
He left the pub with what was described by police as a large plank of wood, and was later was spotted by officers elsewhere on the retail park.
They gave chase on foot, caught the man and arrested him close to the A1237.
He was taken into custody where he was issued with a caution for possessing an offensive weapon in public.
No one was hurt in the incident.
