A man was assaulted during a random attack in Selby.
The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered bruises and grazes after being punched and kicked in the side of the head by two men.
The incident took place near Tesco Carpark, Portholme Road, at around 2pm on Friday (7 March).
Location
The suspects, who did not know the victim, shouted at him before the attack.
One of the men is described as 20 to 30 years old, white and of a stocky build. He was wearing either blue or black work overalls.
The second man is described as roughly the same age, of average build, and he was wearing a bright t-shirt.
They were in a white Ford flatbed truck.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries including CCTV examination have been carried out to trace the suspects and vehicle, and we are appealing for information to support our investigation.
“If you saw anything or have CCTV showing a vehicle or people matching the description in that area at that time, please get in touch.”
