A man was rescued from the River Ouse in York on Tuesday night (January 10).
The man was reported to be in the river near Skeldergate Bridge at 9.49pm.
Police went to the scene and North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service sent a crew from Acomb and a boat crew from York.
The man was pulled from the water by police using throw lines.
York Rescue Boat were also called out but the man was in the care of the ambulance when they arrived.
