A man will appear in court today in connection with the York stabbing that left a teenager in hospital.
A 44-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, in connection with the incident on Baker Street on 5 June.
He is due to appear at York Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday).
The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital.
North Yorkshire Police made several arrests after the incident.
A force spokesperson said today: “Three further people arrested in connection with this incident have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
“Four others have been released from custody and will face no further action.”
Baker Street was cordoned off for several days while police carried out a forensic investigation.
