Man breaks leg at York shopping park

The icy conditions led to an injury at a York shopping centre.

A man slipped and suffered a suspected broken leg at Foss Islands Retail Park.

It happened at 10.30am yesterday (Sunday).

A York fire crew helped the man who had fallen and suffered a suspected broken leg. They administered first aid until an ambulance arrived.

The cold weather is set to continue in York today, but temperatures are due to climb during the night.

Tomorrow is set to be much milder with a top temperature of 11°C. It will turn chillier later in the week.
