Updated: Main road into York cleared after crash

A main road north of York has been cleared after a collision this morning (Monday).

The incident has happened on the A64 at Claxton at around 8.26am.

It was partially blocked around Scotchman Lane.

The collision has now been cleared and traffic is flowing freely.

Drivers are being asked to take extra care in the icy conditions.
