Today (Wednesday, 18 March) will be the last day of term for students at York St John University.

The university has suspended all face-to-face teaching and assessment and will be operating an extended Easter vacation from Wednesday 18 March until Sunday 19 April.

A major incident team at York St John University is closely monitoring the coronavirus outbreak, working with partner organisations and following the advice of Public Health England and the World Health Organisation.

The team is led by Dr Amanda Wilcox, University Secretary and representatives from Health and Safety, HR, IT, Student Life, Registry, Estates, International and the Students’ Union. They will coordinate the University’s response as the situation develops. The team’s priorities are to protect the health of all members of the University community and reduce disruption to University academic activities.
