One York school has updated its parents and students on its response to the coronavirus today.

Huntington School has cancelled all assemblies until further notice and more school events – see below.

It has also prepared virtual learning packs for exam students in Years 11 and 13.

This allows students who are self-isolating to access work, should they wish to.

The school says similar virtual learning materials will be available for Years 7-10 and 12 later in the week.

And form tutors are delivering daily messages to their tutees on the coronavirus and providing lots of reassurance.
