York Rescue Boat on standby

The volunteers and waterway experts at York Rescue Boat are on standby as the river levels rise.

They are ready to respond if required as part of the Local Resilience Forum

This is the YRB’s latest take on the situation.

Some businesses have had to close but the vast majority of York is still open for business.
If you do come to York please stay safe. Do not drive, cycle or walk through flood water, you cannot always tell if there has been any substance or any manhole covers are missing. pic.twitter.com/N1enyra1lD
